Ever wondered what old carpets could be used for?
We at Ci Flooring provide farmers with our old recycled carpet.
Farmers place around 50m of used carpet on the raceway for the cows to walk on when entering the yard to the milking shed. This helps to reduce the amount of small stones and mud building up in their hooves, which cuts down the amount of stone bruising and similar issues that may result in vet callouts and treatment. By doing this and reducing the amount of lame cows, the farmers save time and money, whilst helping the environment and reducing the waste going to landfill.
